Our Work
The campaign for Global Civility invites every citizen of the world to recognise that being civil to one other should be the bedrock of all societies. We encourage every citizen to engage with others whilst being conscientious and aware of our tone, our demeanour, and our attitude, no matter how polarised our opinions are. We must see in others what we wish others to see in us – simply put, that we are part of the same human family and that we each deserve respect and a civil response because of this simple fact.
In this spirit, we are excited to ask you to join your fellow human beings and sign up to the Declaration of Global Civility and the Principles of Global Civility. This invitation applies to you as an individual, or if you are a community-based organisation, charity, or authority, such as the police, fire, ambulance, hospital, or other emergency service. Or maybe you are a place of education, a governing body, or sporting association. Or perhaps you are a public official, a businessperson, a celebrity or influencer, an artist, a professional. Or you may be a member of the armed forces, please help us to promote the principles of Global Civility and reach out to your network and invite them to sign up today.
